Grade One All Weather Mile Championship - Preview

The $250,000 Grade One All Weather Mile Championship is open to three year olds and over of any gender. So far six horses are entered to run one mile on the all weather track at Artificial Arena in Illinois. $2,5000.00 will buy an entry to this race.

Alluvion (KY) - Owned by Nobori Daca
-Alluvion is a five year old chestnut stallion by Rainshine who is by Classic Man. He has won four of his eighteen starts and has earned $96,390.00 for his efforts. Alluvion is coming off a seventh place finish in the five and a half furlong Zelda Stakes where he earned a speed figure of 35. This will be the sixteenth stakes try for Alluvion and he has found the winners circle in a stakes race twice already.

Answer the Dream (FL) - Owned by Kenzie Larkin
-This three year old dark bay colt is by The Right To Dream, out of the Fighting With Wit mare Answertomyprayers. Answer the Dream has won four of his nine starts and has earned $304,500.00 for his efforts. He is coming off a second place finish in the one mile grade three Hedge Stakes where he was beat by a head and earned a speed figure of 71. This will be the ninth stakes try for Answer the Dream and he has placed off the board only once in his career.

I Am Legend (KY) - Owned by Karie McBrian
-I Am Legend is a four year old black colt by End of the Line, out of the Alpha and Omega mare Remember to Smile. He has won eight of his seventeen starts and has earned $590,700.00 for his efforts. I Am Legend is coming off a first place finish in the one mile grade three Hedge Stakes where he finished a head in front of the field and earned a speed figure of 71. This will be the sixteenth stakes try I Am Legend and he has placed out of them money only once in his career.

International Team (VEN) - Owned by Jarrod Brush
-This four year old bay colt is by Iron City, out of the Proud Citizen mare Proud Spell. International Team has won nine of fifteen starts and has earned $498,000.00 for his efforts.
