Smoulders x Riddle Me (Riddle)
$3,934,000; 22: 14-1-3
Dirt: 8: 3-1-2
AW: 14: 11-0-1
Very Sound

Looking for a great dual surface prospect sire? Or maybe a bit of an outcross for mares? Then look no further.
This highest earning son of triple surface producer Smoulders is out of the formidable Riddle mare Riddle Me. Thermo is accomplished on both dirt and all weather, having won graded stakes on both. He ran on dirt until the 2nd to last race of his 3 year old season where he made a convincing debut in the G2 All Weather 2000 Guineas. He would be undefeated in his last 9 races. This includes winning back to back Steward's Cups and the inaugural Pegasus Route. He ran successfully from 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 miles. Don't look at him for miler successes though, he is most likely not going to produce them. Astonishingly he is 7 for 7 with rail draw wins, he always won from the rail. Thermodynamic both has the speed (he was always out in front) and the stamina to add to your mares.

He is hypoing well (B+) with both AWR and DR mares. So for the modest fee of $22,000 why not give him a try?

Snapshot of his record:
Wins:
  • Steward's Cup Synthetic Marathon (G1)
    Plastic's Classic (G1)

Out of 9 horses, Thermodynamic had 3 in the SC Classic in Year 50. The most of any sire this year. Including the winner Jacques who is now a $2m earner.
He is also the sire of this year's AW Debutante Parabolic

And I have at least one mare in my barn that's a Blue Hen by Thermo.

Thermo has proven to sire both winners on All Weather and on Dirt!

For the rest of Y50, I've discounted his fee to $19,750! The lowest it could go, basically. If you breed him to a stakes winning or stakes producing mare I'll refund your stud fees (for up to 5 mares). Just send me a message
