You can add me to list of probable.

I've been stalking flight prices the last couple of days and it went from 280 to 260 to 300.

I don't travel a lot so does it make sense to book this far out in advance or should I wait until the date gets closer? Of course if I ever have a good day at the track one of these days I won't care about the extra $20 or so and just book it.

Michelle is definite because she has money and a flexible job. That or she will be "heading to a wedding" like she did for last BC ;)

From The Steward's post:
There are two different hotel areas that the Steward recommends. The Simi Valley Marriott Courtyard is closest to where the SIM events will take place, and is $99/night for a king bed or two queens (if you are traveling alone, it is likely another SIMster would love to split the cost with you!) Here is the address:

Courtyard Ventura Simi Valley
191 Cochran Street
Simi Valley, CA 93065
I called this hotel today and the lady I spoke with said that 95% of the rooms (two queens) also have a twin-size pullout couch. So, 3 people could share these rooms and each have a place to sleep besides the floor. I've sent out a few PM's to Steward-suggested SIMsters to see about splitting rooms. But if anyone else is interested in splitting rooms, maybe leave a message on here that you're looking for a roomie! ;)

I'm definitely looking for 2 to help cut down my costs....

ALSO, I'd like to NOT have to rent a car. Who might be able to pick me up at the airport? And pick me up each day to go to Santa Anita? And take me back to the airport? I'll gladly pay! :)
Not asking too much, am I?
