I really need to reduce the number of broodmares that I own by about 30 to 40 mares - it just takes too much time to breed them. So, this will be the first of several auctions. Several of these mares I am selling only because I need to reduce my numbers; otherwise I'd keep them.
Once the reserve is met, you must bid at least $5,000 more than the current high bid. Only people who are registered on this message board, and whose name I can match up to someone on the owner page may bid. You may bid on as many mares as you like, and if you end up selling the mare for more than you paid, good for you. All of these mares are unbred for this year.
The auction closes at noon game time on Sunday, June 3. Bids with a time stamp of 12:00 will count, those with a time stamp of 12:01 will not. Any other questions, please let me know. Anyway, here are the mares:
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=19833' target='_blank'>Alalunga</a> (Machiavellian x Classic Reign by Vice Regent)
From the family of Sky Classic, Regal Classic, and Classy N Smart (dam of Dance Smartly). First foal, who just turned four, is a winner.
High bidder: Charles Bunbury $20,000
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=21351' target='_blank'>Harbor Cruise</a> (Boston Harbor x Indian Sunset by Storm Bird)
Half-sister to champion Fiery Sunset and G1 winner Flying Solo.
High bidder: Ronda Figal $55,000
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=21157' target='_blank'>Lazy Slusan</a>(Slewvescent x Three Flights Up by Topsider)
Real life G1 winner. First foal, who just turned four, is a two-time winner.
High bidder: Tom Mudgett $55,000
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=23304' target='_blank'>Lucky Lavender Gal</a> (Carson City x La Reine Rouge by King’s Bishop)
The only reason I’m selling her is I also own her full sister, La Ville Rouge (dam of Barbaro and Cherish the Moment). First foal, who just turned four, is a winner, second foal, by Chinese Bandit, finally gets 1 1/8 miles this Saturday.
High bidder: Nikki Sherman $150,000
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=22243' target='_blank'>Queen's Logic</a>(Grand Lodge x Lagrion by Diesis)
Real life champion and G1 winner, as well as half-sister to Dylan Thomas. First two foals are both winners.
High bidder: Mallory Guesnon $100,000
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=22145' target='_blank'>Wickedly Wise</a> (Tactical Cat x Winter Display by Cold Reception)
First foal is a two-time stakes winner and earned over $175,000 during her racing career.
High bidder: Amy Schmidt $102,000
Thanks for looking!
