Just realized I won the Big Blue Bucket AND the Little Blue Bucket on Wednesday. That was pretty cool! Nice to see my pacers deciding to run well.

Re: SIM Mini Brags
My gal Guilty Spark picked up a debut stakes win on the first race day of the season, and set the 4f AW record while she was at it. Fun way to kick off the season! Especially since she ran it faster than Dense Fog did when he won the same race for me two years ago... and after the season he's had, to have another horse who can even sniff at his level in my stable is very exciting.

Re: SIM Mini Brags
The end of Simmy voting allows me to reflect on a really exciting year 59 end for my barn and shine the light on my three best horses currently, all three homebred which I'm very happy about:
Two Steward Cup wins (Me, Myself and Lie; Onward Horse), and a Steward's Cup third place (Damascus Defender).
Four Simmy Awards:
Me, Myself and Lie - Y59-African Champion Two Year Old Female, Y59-African Horse of the Year
Damascus efender - Y59-Islands Champion Two Year Old Male
Onward Horse - Y59-Standardbred Pacer Champion Two Year Old Male
Thanks to everyone that voted for these three horses - and specifically Me, Myself and Lie!

Re: SIM Mini Brags
Robert, congrats on the Simmys. I've had Me, Myself and Lie on my watch list since she was a yearling. I'm glad to see how well her 1st racing season went and look forward to her 3 year old season. Her headshot is kind of neat too...her star vaguely looks like she's flipping everyone the bird...lol.

Thanks so much Stormy! Hoping for the best out of her racing through her breeding career - would be nice to get a foundation mare to really help take that next step.Stormy Peak wrote: ↑2 years ago Her headshot is kind of neat too...her star vaguely looks like she's flipping everyone the bird...lol.

Hmmm, I hadn't noticed that about the star before, and of course now it's all I see

Re: SIM Mini Brags
Part brag, part fun observation - these two are twins, ran the same day, both won their races with a 92 figure and a "game" running line

https://www.simhorseracing.com/race.php?RaceID=1787840
Different classes of course, but still. This was very fun to see because their dam, Upside Down Frown, was my first legit stakes-running homebred mixer, getting twins in her first breeding was fun, them being stakes and allowance was fun, the stakes being an actual stakesy runner is very fun, the allowance being the sort of allowance to run a 92 is very fun. I love this little family.

I know chasers do that all the time, but it was a first for me, so tiny wow moment..!
