SIMperior - What It Does for a New Player

As I said in my first article the first week, or two, or even three and so forth can be very overwhelming!

I went the first week without SIMperior until I got a 5k GP present from a fellow simster. Of course when I first got it I was like do I really want to spend the money on this, and since I had doubts I went to check out my new barn and what it had to offer me. SIMperior players get The Edge (all of it is a secret till you upgrade your account, so don't ask anyone about what exactly it is). Below is a list of things that I have found that have helped me the most.

1. You have access to more races, granted I am running as many horses at Trial Park until I am no longer considered a new player, I have entered a few horses in races for just SIMperior players and it has saved me from having them wait another week because there was nothing for them. As new players we need to enter as many horses as possible to learn, and ghetto tore races under our belts so this could be beneficial to us.

2. Having when our horses were last raced, last worked, and current entry in a race displayed in our racing stable, without having to click on the horse. This saves us soooo much time, which gives us the ability to own more horses and like I said above we get to enter more. We don't have to click on every individual horse and go look when they last raced etc. it also shows us in our training stable when our horses in training were last worked. This is I think my favorite feature of the whole upgrade!

3. The Horse Whisper. It's hard to try and figure out what your horse likes. I was told (before I had SIMperior) to not base entering my horses off of this, so I didn't. It's nice to have that little bit of help now that I have it though. It may sometimes make or break a horse, but that I have yet to really figure out.

4. Having auto-ship. Automatically shipping your horses for you! I mean c'mon this is seriously a life saver! i would have had quite a few scratches if not for this. To date I still have 0! I hope to keep it that way for awhile at least.

5. Horse Running Type- the ability to pick on our horses info what they run in (dirt router, turf router, all weather router, dirt miler, turf miler, etc.) this makes entering races so easy! You automatically knock out all those races you would have to scroll through and honestly without it entering was so time consuming.

6. Speed Figures- I love speed figures! I can't tell you how much. Maybe it's because in real life they have played a big part of who I have wanted to breed my mares to, idk. I love them. When I look at a horse besides breeding and how they race I look at speed figures, and idk I think they are pretty accurate to real life.

7. Ability to choose horse markings. Honestly I could care less about what my horse looks like as long as it runs well!

8. The Stallion Ranking - honestly I love this maybe a little too much, I have sat and researched and researched and researched some more... Now when it comes time for me to be able to breed I think I'll have so many options I'll probably just have to pick out of a hat! Haha!!!!

9. SMS Alerts- if I am not on and I get an alert you better believe I will be on as soon as I am done doing whatever I am doing and then that also means I'll probably be on for another hour or so. My husband wants to kill me for this! But as new players it helps us remember things.

Anyways I think I have covered everything that is super beneficial to us newbies. I personally love SIMperior, I will continue to keep it as long as I play. If your are having trouble and feeling overwhelmed, seriously get it. It helps so much. Not to mention it makes me feel so much more into the game then before! I hope you guys enjoy this.
