Re: Steward Breds Leaving, why is this happening again?
I honestly think it is the "T" word. But as for lowering purses, raising fees, etc. I can say that as a new(ish) player or a player that may have less time to contribute to the game it is hard enough to avoid going bankrupt. I hate the idea of lowering purses-even for the G1, because they should be...

Re: Start of a Breeding Operation???
I always talk about not being a breeder but with Steward bred horses going away I guess the only way to stay in the game is to be a breeder. So I started my quest in earnest today. I have two 4 year old fillies that I just retired who I found out are both blue hens and, thanks to Jon Xett saving a ...

Did you get any improvers? Any hopeful still looking good?Kelly L Haggerty wrote: ↑1 month agoIf you heard some braying just now it's ok. That was just the sound of my 2yos heading back to the barn after galloping.
I didn't bother to re-gallop my horses, I'll do it over break.

Re: Gelding Question
Actually, right now, the tiny set improvement is hard to see. There used to be more of a range, which resulted in some horses, post-gelding, turning into top flight race horses. I think you'd have more incentive under Laura's suggestion, than you do under the current system, which has no chance of ...

First crop first maiden winner :D
So, I'm technically not "new" anymore but I'm still a Junior so I'll post here. :D I've had my first homebred maiden winner from my first crop of foals. For me, having foals I've bred myself running on the track has given me an even stronger interest in the sim. I've been bogged down by RL, and only...

Re: Gelding Question
*shameless plug for my one small thing: making the gelding improvement based on a slide would be super interesting and more fun than the tiny set improvement that it currently is* If this happened wouldn't people be less likely to geld? Because they'd basically shrug and say "now I don't 'see' the ...
