How about we place a special daily tax for stewardbreds.
All stewardbreds are taxed at a higher daily rate.

This would only affect the rich players owning all the steward breds.

How about we start paying the jockey a percentage of the winning purse. Those guys are really getting screwed. Doing all the work and not getting a dime.
I like this, but what about the losing jockeys? They don't eat? :P

Re: Total Purses in the SIM

How about we increase the day rate from $5 a horse per day to $20 a horse per day. Big money barns usually have lots of horses. The problem with flat fees like this and those that are already exist in the sim is that they hit poorer stables a lot harder, and those stables are typically more vulnera...

Re: Total Purses in the SIM

Finally, a thread with some pro-tax people :) Here's my proposal, using the SIM's wealthiest owner, April Eddy, as an example. - A one-cent tax levied at the end of the year on SIM cash between $1,000,000 and $10,000,000. April would pay $90,000 from this bracket. - A three-cent tax levied at the en...

I believe Em has said that both the vet and the gallop reveal equipment 20% of the time.
I was under the impression it was 5% for gallops, and a higher percentage for vet. It certainly feels that way at least!

No One Is Safe

Please consider No One Is Safe for your turf route mare. He is the best turf route stallion priced at $25k or below. Pedigree, race record, and gallop numbers are all there. He should be at a much higher fee, to be honest. Thanks for your time.

Captain My Captain

I've leased a nice sire this year, Captain My Captain . He's got a near-flawless old school pedigree and great race record. If you breed a mare to Captain My Captain, I will send you $5,000. This is because I want his fee to be $10k, but the strange stud fee rule prevents me from setting it to that....

Hey, we've been terrible since the early 60s. Little things count :)
Being undefeated is more than a little thing
Yeah we'll finally be ranked for a few weeks before getting steamrolled in the back end of the schedule. Or not! I can dream!

Triple Crown Trail

Here's mine:

Creator of Worlds
Gallantry
I Still See You
Johan
Newt
Summon Courage
This Is Our Year
Wildnerness

I will defend last year's title by likely placing in the low to mid 80s. Best of luck to all.
