Almost forgot about Curro Jimeniz. He was named after a Spanish captioned show I use to watch back in the late 1980's, but the show itself was probably filmed back in the early 1970s. It was a fun way to keep up on my Spanish language...hearing it and reading it at the same time. The t.v. series was filmed in Spain and was about a nobleman, Curro Jimeniz, who had to turn outlaw. The show featured lots of of sword fights and shooting of blunderbuss guns. Unlike Robin Hood, though, he kind of just robbed from the rich and kept the money...lol. Sometimes he helped people out. : )

Usually I remember the names of my horses, but this one didn't even ring a bell, even though it turns out that I'm the breeder and I named and raced him. He's a 12 year old QH that didn't earn anything on the track - so much for 'fairly quick' .

I only have 4 Lesson Horses left. So I haven't seen a lot of comments on them.
Give Me a Chance clearly misses being a racehorse, and took off during a lesson today!
This one made me laugh out loud as I thought: Give Me A Chance - and I'm Gone!
I had a friend who had a horse like that...lol, she had to be on high alert every time she rode him.

When Marzy Dotes left the game around year 36, she asked if I could take some of her pensioners, I said sure, thinking 'some' meant like 20 to 30 horses, I think I got over a 100 of them, lol. Yes, It's Silver was one of them, so it's good to see that lot is earning a little money for me, although most of them have passed on since then.

During the break, I got one more prize earner with Hobnail. It bumped my Year 46 grand total up to $45,000. Not the best year I've had but not the worst either. I've added a good number of horses to my pensioners band in Year 46, but I'm still way below the numbers I use to have in that barn. Over the past 3 Sim seasons, I've probably lost about 300+ pensioners due to old age.
I'm looking forward to Yr 47, and in seeing how my pensioners will do.
