Azuma - Clockwork x Amagi (Everest)
My unexpected former freak (downgraded to stakes with the last gallop shift). Her dam Amagi was an unpredictable broodmare, so Azuma really is that surprise of a nice runner. She's only ran in stakes, hitting the board in all but one. Which was my mistake to push her with a grueling Wk 10-12-14-16 schedule. I'm beyond thrilled with her especially in winning Asian Horse of the Year last year. Here's hoping she still has it as a five year old and will be a stellar broodmare to pass along the female family line I love so much.
