Lori Hamill wrote: 6 years ago Good luck, Fanta, hope she can pull off some of those wins for you. You know 10 wins out of 17 starts (15 on-the-board finishes!!!) you really can't be disappointed by anything she does at this point. She's a super filly for you. :)
Thanks Lori! She is definitely my pride and joy and anything else she does now is just icing on the cake! I can't wait for the next phase of her life and to see what her future in the breeding shed holds!

So Paramour finished fourth last night in the Steward's Cup Filly and Mare Turf Mile, I had a feeling she's been losing a step this year but she was still great enough to defeat the boys in the Sand Castle Stakes, finish another second in the Dubai Millennium Mile, third in the Toronto Mile, and win a sponsored Grade 1 over last night's Steward's Cup Filly and Mare Turf Mile winner Silence Has Fallen. So I'm super proud of all she has accomplished and she is her dam's second highest earner with $2,150,000 in the bank behind her big brother Harden Your Heart.

Now onto the exciting stuff.... she is a blue hen, as she should be, and hypos A- with a large variety of studs. She will be in a lease auction next year so start saving up your money now!

I would also like to present her first foal:

Heguardstheheavens

Quetzalcoatl --> G1 winner, Son of SC winner Luxuria, 20,000 fee

It's been a long time since I updated this, but last night Paramour's first foal to race, Heguardstheheavens, became a G1 winner!

Her daughter, Devotedly, will be making her debut in Week 8 in the South Pacific, and her yearling, Superbia, is a stakes galloper so the future is bright!

For those keeping score, Heguardstheheavens is an allowance gallop. I love him!

Paramour's legacy as a dam continues to grow (at least in my eyes); out of four foals to race all have won at least a Grade 2 (3 have won G1s) and all to race have earned over 6 figures!

Image
Superbia, 3x Grade 1 winner including the Steward's Cup Juvenile Turf, Paris Derby and Palace of the Saints; $912,800 in earnings (age 3, active)

Image
Heguardstheheavens, 2x Grade 1 winner; $856,500 in earnings (age 5, active)

Image
Devotedly, Grade 1 winner; $644,500 in earnings (age 4, retired)

Image
Luxuria, Grade 1 SC winner from Mickey's last crop; $662,500 in earnings (age 2, active)
