I was so excited when I bred this boy! I raised and bred his Granddam Miss Indian Nation so I had (and still do) have high hopes for him!

Well....Kid has added yet again another stakes to his resume. He won the G3 Stonehenge Stakes over a firm course with a SF of 86 and by 3! Love this boy!

Re: Kid Galahad (Sepia Tint X Miss Golden State)
After some tough luck and a not paying attention race entry, my boy posted another SF of 89! So hopefully he's back for good!

He FINALLY broke his G1 Maiden with a sf of 88 on a dry track! I'm trying to decide whether to run in SC or just run in some G1 in Europe...

He's a beauty, Ashley and he's been doing so well this year. Won that Grade 1 by daylight against some pretty nice competition!

Always a Groomsmen and never the Groom when it comes to the SC Turf Dash. Ran a respectable 3rd against some tuff company! He never disappoints me!

I have ALWAYS loved that horse (and his name).
That is one cool cookie there, Ms. Hunt.
I think I saw that name in an Elvis Presley movie? I don't remember now. It comes on the old movies channel, whichever that one is. Didn't he have some horses, or wasn't it ... a racetrack movie, or something?
God, I haven't seen that movie in about three years.
I mean, if you're ever on the fence about a category ... and that does happen ... and it comes down to the name you like best ... THIS would be the winner in the category. (And, he ain't too shabby on the track, either.)
To finish third in THAT SC race was nothing short of amazing. Look at the top five.
Terminal City--the big two year old Aussie horse.
Cat Named Boots--what can you say that hasn't been said already?
Then yours.
Gunmetal Grey--defending SC champ in that race, 13-17, I think?
Little Fictions--unbeaten going into that race AND the 2 YO SC champ.
And The Kid was right there, in the middle of all of 'em.

I always pay attention when Eric Hamme talks about horses running in Maryland.

Thank you! Yes I got his name from an Elvis movie lol! He was in the army, and then turned into a boxer in the movie.Anne Conradt wrote: ↑5 years ago I have ALWAYS loved that horse (and his name).

He's easily one of my favorites for sure! And I am super proud of him for placing 3rd in that tough of a race (although I do wish it had been a off track!)
