I could write a post about any members of that family because they're all super awesome (and my 5x Grade 1 winner King of Ashes is in human terms a cousin to this horse and his siblings) but Moon Faced has garnered a special place in my heart.
-He's ultra consistent
-He won the London Derby for me which was a major goal of mine in the SIM
-He had a rough year last year but has bounced back into top shape
-He's only a 'stakes' but is surpassing all of my expectations
-He's named after my favorite number from the opera 'Street Scene'-'Moon Faced, Starry Eyed' which I got to be a part of as an on stage violinist
-He's the first horse I've ever campaigned to have won 10 races for me
Moon Faced
Love this boy!!

Re: Moon Faced
What a good looking horse! Interesting to hear how he was named too. I put him on my alerts and will send some nice ones to him when he retires.
