Wine on the Rocks

Post by Ronnie Dee »

Like her much older half-brother (No Luck Needed), Wine on the Rocks won the SC Synthetic Marathon. So their late dam, Calico Rocks, produced 2 upset winners of this race -- 10 years apart!

I went back and listened to your Year 53 race call. The excitement in your voice really helped me relive this race -- No Luck Needed somehow threading his way from 10th place to win. I agree with your post-race comment that luck was definitely needed.
