I really do believe we need more GP and a half days per SIM year. One at the beginning and one at the end of each Sim year. (The beginning because we want to find out about equipment and the end because - you know, all those hypo's.) Not that it would really matter to me - I'd still spend it as fast as I get it. You know, just sayin'......

Excuse my ignorance, but, what is a GP and a half day?

I can help you out with the GP-thing ;)

I'm not sure what starter allowance race is, but the horse was at least a allowance as a 2yo, maybe?

According to the FAQ: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=10970

A horse must have run in either a claimer or starter allowance in its last race to run in a starter allowance. The idea being I guess that if you have a claimer you want to move up to allowance conditions its a "starter" allowance

typically - they're about every 22-24 weeks so if one was week 2 of sim year x, the next would be week 6 of sim year y
I'm just here for the fun of it
