Training Young Horses

Post by The Admin »

Remember when you used to be able to work out yearlings starting right after results on Day 6 of Week 4? Even though officially it wasn't supposed to happen safely until Week 5? And remember how unhappy some players were that we changed it so that Week 5 actually starts on Day 1 rather than part way through Day 6?

Well, Week 5 still starts on Day 1, but safely training yearlings now begins on Week-4 Day-6. That means now. Train away. Enjoy!

I'm happy for everyone else. My horses that worked earlier today (W4 D6) are injured by the dozens (Twas a misclick of a scheduled future workout), but hopefully I'm the only one that made that mistake in the very narrow window where this was maybe an issue.

This, of course, after scheduling them all to run on Week 5 Day 1. I have a bit of Undoing to do! :)

Thank you! Week 1 of works, and nothing spectacular jumping out of my barn but that is to be expected after results from gallop day...

I decided not to undo nearly 200 yearlings and leave them at the scheduled time!

Maybe a filter on the undoable action is possible?

Wish list
Alternate horses between jumps and flat.
Search for previous rather than current owners of horses.
Stallions year entered for stud duties.
Automated assistant trainers - sorted, kind of!
European claiming circuit.
