Dumb Travel

Post by The Steward »

I was supposed to make it home yesterday and planned on calling the synthetic races today, but a mishap with the left engine of the plane and a goose and me being stranded in Ohio for 24 hours means I'm going to make it exactly at post time and I've decided to not break speeding laws to try to call them. Keep an eye out for the schedule of racecalls coming soon, and my third auction!

I wanted to (and Tuesdays races), but I've lost my voice and I'm sick as a dog (never really understood that saying). Hoping I get voice back before Thursday at this rate... Probably sounds like a bunch of whining but what can you do.

Ah Derby weather the gift that keeps on giving. On the bright side you are doing better than the goose.

THAT is the truth. But it was my own fault for sleeping in my wet clothes that night. But I didn't have the energy to peel them off!! Zzzzzzzzz

English langage has a few very strange sayings. Like today. It's raining big time outside. Raining cats and dogs?! Well, hope you get better soon! "There's no cow on the ice" (swedish expression) that the mixers didn´t get called. Looking forward to friday-races!
