Trial By Summer Non Select Yearling Sale

Post by The Steward »

On Wednesday, December 1st, I will be having a sales page sale. On this day, everyone will be allowed to buy ONE horse until this sale is over. That means ONE horse total, including private offers, not just one TBS horse. If you buy a horse on Wednesday morning before the sale starts, please don't come crying to me saying you forgot. I'm telling you now, ONE horse until the sale is over.

This is the annual Non-Select sale. This means that I don't consider these to be too special. This could be because I just don't like the sires, or the cross doesn't light my fire, or the mare's been disappointing. This doesn't mean the horses are bad, and I didn't actually look at them when I made this selection, these are just who I decided didn't need to be in the 2yo sale because they didn't strike me as meeting that kind of select cut.

So, keeping that in mind, remember that although you may feel that you always need more good horses (and that's probably true!), while these horses might not be the stars of your barn, they could be the stars of someone else's barn. Just keep that in mind before you frantically spend all day reloading trying to buy one just so you can have another decent but not world beating animal.

Their prices will be between $50,000 and $500,000. Seven horses will be posted on the hour at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 10:00 pm.

The Steward always operates on Pacific time, unless she states otherwise.

I didn't touch anything, but it's possible that if you hadn't logged out in a while or something it still thought it was before time change?

EDIT - Yeah, the time logged out of forum is an hour ahead.
