I got Husky. Wow, 2 piece, the usual.

[I'm totally open to pinhooking this horse.]

You?

Edit: In fact, please send me offers on Husky.

I'm calling Sherwood to win the Derby in Y42. Pete got a steal of an underbid.

I got the only AW router in the auction. $800k+ is a bit steep (for me) for a stud prospect with unknown/new-ish GP bloodlines, but he was a "stakes" and I got both pieces figured out. :)

I got Sherwood. 2 piece scary. Will need to Gallop to get the 2nd.
Comes with a note.

Danny Derby helped me with the underbid by winning the Whitespire Monster =)
Was my only shot since I was outbid on the 2 sprinter colts I wanted.

Very excited about this guy and his future.

after a bidding war on my second choice, which I lost, I ended up getting my first choice, D'Vour, on an underbid. Stakes galloping filly by my own number one stud, two pieces but plenty of time to figure that out. Stoked!

I got Equanimity who was a 1 piece wow. It appears the days of being able to get a stewardbred filly turf miler for under 1 million are long gone. She's my most expensive yet.

I am VERY pleased with Am I a Good Man. Didn't pay too much, had a zippy work, and I'm happy.

Finally didn't get shut out.

My computer and I had a moment, so I missed out on my second choice (My first went way out of budget, but I knew she would)... but I did manage to win another I'd been watching:

Orca Bay

He was the cheapest horse in the auction at it's end, but he's galloped WOW, 2 pieces with second to figure out via training, but I'm happy.

First time I've won a horse in a Steward auction :)

(edit. And looking at my second choice, he doubled in the last 10 seconds, so I would have missed him anyway. Good computer.).

Tickled pink to have only spend 431k to get All Weather sprint colt Afoolandhismoney, by GP stallion Sole Power. Galloped stakes and worked a top 20 time, with some equipment experimentation still needed.

I almost forgot about the TBS auction, just slipped in during the last minutes - forgot what horses I was aiming for and just put in a bid on Trot who galloped Wow and I got insanely cheap. Two pieces, second piece is a vet piece and it looks like I'll have to slip him a bribe to get him to cough it up.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After seven real years of playing, I finally bought a steward-bred. Fire Ring is a scary that needs two pieces and came with the note "Miler and short router. VERY fun filly!!!" Hoping my $337,000 investment will pay out.

That was a good catch! Too bad I'm not into sprinters anymore. I really like how Sole Power is shaping up into a nice, usable GP stud.
