My hunch after reading all of these is that every one of them are the same...allowance gallop and eventual formidable mare.
Can the broodmare rating improve if the horse wins some stakes or are they destined at birth to be what they will be?

I believe they are born with their broodmare rating and it never improves.

Retired mine and got this:
'She's Lion' should be a good broodmare, the kind that could surprise you with a nice runner once in a while.
She's Lion's greatest strength could be as the dam of steeplechasers. Good luck!"
...and I don't run chasers! Awesome. Looks like I'd better study up on jumping sires
