Just curious... do you set your timezone to your local time zone in the SIM? If you do, all the displayed times will be in your own timezone so you don't have to do any conversions.

Yes I definitely do. Everything being listed in my own time zone is extremely useful.

The problem with the game point TBS sale was that the only place the end time was listed was in Em’s initial post in the forum. It wasn’t in the event calendar or any other place that converts times. I didn’t end up winning a horse but having the countdown put on the home page was still very useful.

I think this is a good idea. This way experienced players can’t see which horses they could implore new players to buy for them. Of course once the horses are sold it’s a different story.

Though I do like to watch these auctions, plus there is a horse I have in my alerts in this auction so that was a bit of a bummer but I’ll live.

Joe, I'd suggest messaging the Steward directly, or using the "contact us" link at the top left of your home page. Since only new players can see this auction, many of us don't know what's bid on individual horses, but I'm guessing there's horses in there that have current bids below your bankroll. Does anyone remember if there's still a protection rule for new players that prevents them from bidding above a certain percentage of their bank balance? I seem to remember something like that in place when I was new(er), but I'm old and forgetful about such things!
