Sounds like the steward is trying to please both sides of the spectrum. The1st auction with a limit of 1 will hypothetically pull less cash out the game then an auction with a limit of two. I think it was done this way by design.

I guess, however that's not a "true" underbid since the bid cancels prior to the auction ending. But it functions the same way.

I certainly have no issues with the way it's being done. And, I more than anyone can't complain about the steward auctions this year since the new player auction directly benefitted me haha. I was more just pointing out a fact that there will not be underbids.
