Current Steward Auction (2 horse limit)

Post by Mr. Lord Rich »

This auction is really starting to heat up on the top end. Still lots of bargains with the bulk of these.

Can’t wait until Monday when it’s time to start bidding :)

Personally I see TR next in line to develop the most in the game. Em has clearly taken a liking to them (thanks in part to Japanese racing) and they are starting to become more valuable than DR. Plus, they’re not quite at that point yet where everyone is so hyper good that they just beat up on each other all the time (they’re close to it though!).

TS are definitely getting hotter too right now though (turf racing in general looks to be thriving).

is it just me or is there literally no advantage and several disadvantages to making a bid at this point? Our ability to collectively drive up the price on ourselves is kinda hilarious.

There really was no need to have almost a week between auction open and auction close, since there's no opportunity to have an underbid. I expect the real bidding to start in the final hour.

Laura, I have just noticed that you're right.
There isn't going to be underbids.¡¡¡
The Steward did a smart rules change: the same numbers of bids and wins.
Final hour: a big bid war.
Best wishes
