Want to win the Turf Triple?

Post by The Steward »

Today in real life, the $1.5 million earner Bowies Hero died of laminitis in California. I made a mare auction for 30 daughters as I like to do when things die on us. They are ALL a combination (in varying levels of proficiency) of Turf/AW mile and turf/AW sprint. I even saw one that ended up being TS/TM/TR. Anyway, if you're trying to breed something that naturally wants to do the Turf Triple, this is not a bad place to start!!

I found a couple that were A- in two out of three divisions and B+ in the third, which counts in my book, and I only hypoed a handful.

I'm super pleased with the mare I picked up. Got her a little bit on the cheap side, and she's a blue hen with A- hypos in TS, AWS, AWM, and an A to Fearless Spirit in TM. Exciting multidistance and multisurface potential here! Thanks for this!!

Bid last minute on a mare and got a blue hen/brilliant which is super cool, but her hypos are confusing me and now I have too much choice haha! A to Fearless Spirit and A-/A- to a LOT of GP stallions, A- to See You Monday and mostly B+ to TR so I'm thinking she's TS/TM. Agh too much choice!

Dang it. I didn’t see the auction, though the prices were out of my bank anyways per the usual.

Got a blue hen whose greatest strength may be steeplechasing. Hypo's A to See You Monday and A- to most TS studs as well as some TM AWS and AWM studs. Choose to breed her to stud with A- with TS, TM, AWS, AWM and S. Who knows what I'll get. 8-)
