Formidable mares on the sales page

Post by Paul Heinrich »

I am kind of back.

I just put 100+ mares - mostly dirt routers, but a few dozen turf routers, too - on the sales page. The vast majority are “formidable,” and priced at 15k. Fair price for those looking to bolster a stable for a retiring stallion or 3!

80+ left went back on the sales page at a discount.

I’d settle for Paha Sapa getting into the Hall. Creds? Two Steward’s Cup wins, and a Desert win over males. She deserves it, even if she suffered the Heinrich curse of ridiculous negative breeding curve for her daughters after she retired (which is essentially why I’ll never be in the Hall myself, lol).

Anyway, in other news, I just put a whole new ton of formidable Broodmares up on the sales page between 10-15k. I don’t know how I ended up with them. I told my trainer to stop collecting them for me, because my small operating budget can’t handle them, but he’s completely out of pocket.

This trait is heritable.
