Melbourne Cup Sweep

Post by Peter Gleason »

Hey

Melbourne Cup Sweep thread here. The race occurs circa 3pm on Tuesday November 6, which is roughly results time Monday 5 November I think.

Prizes would be made up of $500k SIMcash from me, the prize pool (24*50k = $1.2mil) and whatever else that is donated slash I can think of. So at least $1.7mil will be in the prize pool!

Bascially, you will receive a horse in the race and if the horse wins or places etc, you will get a prize!

I need 23 people by next Tuesday, and probably earlier if I am required to send horses to people for the entry fee, otherwise we can potentially extend it if someone is able to facilitate it from there? (Cleo/ Laura etc?)

Entry fee will be 50K

Submit your name in here if you're interested, and once we have enough I can start sending horses out for 50k.

I can also link this to the SIMdinner potentially..I dunno.

Thanks!

I'm in, and I'll donate the extra $100k I pledged for the CC. I can definitely help handle fee collection or whatever else if needed. Will PM you when I'm not at work trying to hide my phone in the laminar flow hood.

I'm in, and happy to help out with facilitation if needed. I'll also donate the extra 200K I was offering for the Caulfield sweep.

Think that makes it an even $2mil in the prize pool...not bad!

My donation is irrelevant since I'll be winning it again anyway :P We know how this old chestnut goes...
