Michael,

In real life, it is 'bad luck' to change the name of a horse (or so think the superstitious people).
You should keep the name Pack Horse.

Well Yes and No. Yaazer became Dubai Millennium

Alternate horses between jumps and flat.
Search for previous rather than current owners of horses.
Stallions year entered for stud duties.
Automated assistant trainers - sorted, kind of!

Dubai Millenium was a great horse that died way too early.
