I've recently been in a fight with my husband because he refuses to take me to Disneyland, which I think is ridiculous. I finally said I do things for you that I don't want to all the time! He said LIKE WHAT?! And all I could come with is, "We see your parents TWICE A WEEK EVERY WEEK ALWAYS!" Maybe I should have kept that one in my mouth, because now it's all sorts of rage around here.

Oh dear. I think there is just no help for it but to fess up, say you are sorry, didn't mean it and that you were just trying to win the argument. (Regardless of how you might really feel on this - peace in the household is worth much.) Otherwise he will always have it in the back of his mind that you don't like his parents. Even if you DO like his parents he will always be thinking that you don't. He won't be thinking "Maybe my parents ARE crowding us a little too much..." no, he'll just think you don't like them. No reasoning with people when it comes to their parents. Sometimes it's best to just be up front with him, accept that he's hurt, do what you can to straighten it out and continue on. Maybe he also said things that hurt you? You can use that, too.
