Classic run down
Starting with Kryptonite, he comes into this winning his last 2 going 10 furlongs, has wins over a off track, one of those G1 on Turf also add in the barrier trail bullet time at 5f. Throw in 2 wins over the great Unmerciful and you have a horse in TIP-TOP shape looking gorgeous as he sits as slight favorite for those reasons.
Steamboat Wille is staring history in the face here but will have to over come a few things to get there. 1 for 1 on a good track is all the experience he has in rain, last 3 races were wins coming from other distances other then 10 furlongs. In fact hasn't won at 10 furlongs in exactly one year, last year's Classic. He is your 2nd choice and I'm rooting for his run to continue
Unmerciful will have to have a heart bigger then Secretariat, he comes off of 3 2nd place finishes in a row, has never raced on anything other then fast, with his confidence in the dumps and retirement around the corner we will find out the size of that heart here. He is your 4th choice
Your 3rd choice is Primetime who looks like what his name says, he shows up in big races and is proven over a wet track. He likes the big lights and there is nothing bigger at this moment with this field right now. I'm going with Primetime to go gate to wire. I feel like he will get loose on the front and not look back. Also he won me 7mil so I feel obligated lol
