SIM Headshots Tournament

Post by Dan Kauffman »

I shouldn't do this because it will take hours and hours ...

... but the heck with it.

Though inactive in the game currently, I happened to stumble upon the Facebook post about the SIM's 5,000th headshot purchase. There are a lot (no seriously, A LOT) of absolutely stunning headshots, many of which were featured in my 50 for 50 list at the start of the SIM's 50th season.

So let's run a little voting tournament and see which headshot comes out on top.

First, the nomination process. EVERYONE is allowed to submit a list of up to 64 headshots in this thread. The more nominations a specific headshot gets, the greater chance it has of making the actual tournament field of 64. (There will more than likely be a tie for the final spots in the field, and those will be broken by another vote in a week or so.)

The deadline to submit nominations in this thread is Sunday, April 19 at midnight US Eastern. I will tabulate all the nominations and will then run a tiebreaker vote the week after.

EDIT: Please submit nominations using the link Ali Hedgestone provided a few posts into this thread. Thanks!

NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED

I will post the bracket and the first set of matchups as soon as I have it ready.

Just so everyone knows, I'm fine with people posting their nominees in list form. Might be a good idea to prevent long loading times.
