hmmmm seems my picks usually do one of three things

1. they rrun in an allowance which doesnt yield a lot of point they did win it though so there is that

2. they run in a barrrier trial and although I dont know whether that will yield any points or not my guess is not

3 they generally suck and dont get any points

which I was a bit pepared for so my last 3 picks were my own horses but unfortunately they are not all that good but at least I hae some degree of control over where they run

I made a small screwup, I thought MSW/NW2 etc. races were worth 20 total points (like allowances), but they are only worth 10 total, so I had to adjust a couple of those. Still working on all the Friday races.

EDIT: Apparently some conditioned races are worth 20 and some are worth 10. Well, that will keep me on my toes.

Sent my "ace" to the mound last night and he got bombed. Doesn't say much for my chances for the rest of the "season."

I wouldn't be too concerned ... a two-week turnaround from the SC Turf, plus a change in distance from 12F to 9.5F, are two factors that I think worked against him (but not nearly as much as the fact that it's just really, really, really hard to beat these loaded major turf route fields repeatedly). He's still a stud and should be fine.

(I deleted the other part because it turned out to be a mistake on the trainer's part and is no longer relevant.)

Updated through Friday's Europe races. I'm not feeling great today, so I encourage everyone to double-check their own horses, because if I didn't goof something, I will be stunned.

(I did fix a Pegasus Turf error, I had given the third-place horse 20 points instead of the correct 40).

Updated through Friday's late races, with a new leader (by one point) and a fair amount of shakeup thanks in large part to the Saudi Turf Marathon (double points) and Saudi Turf Cup. As always, check my work!
