Only races with $1 million (or more) purses get the double points.

Updated through the Week 5 Friday Europe races, and woof, there were some, um, not-so-good efforts in that batch (fourth and sixth place in an NW3, mainly).

One of the emerging trends this year (and it includes one of my horses) is 3-year-olds who are making noise after going under the radar at 2. (In my case, the horse improved from allowance to stakes.)

My second pick was an underrated 3yr old. I’m pretty happy I picked her. She’s the bomb.

Updated through the early Week 6 Friday races. Look at what Garret Folsom's last draft pick is doing, that was a money selection.

Three million-dollar outings tonight (Desert Turf, Desert Duty Free, Louisville Bunbury). Standings could get a shakeup.

Updated through Week 6. The big winners were Longbird in the Desert Turf Classic, Roughian in the Desert Duty Free and Voyage in the Louisville Bunbury. That last one made me look pretty smart (he ran pretty poorly as a juvenile, but with that insane pedigree, success was coming sooner or later).
