Well, I thought about nominating Xanduro for a lark. You know, multiple G1 winner, $458k in earnings in only 5 starts, only loss by a neck in another G1.
Race career only lasted 14 weeks. Was I asked, pretty competitive compared to some of those nominated.
All I really got to say though is sucks to be Dan! Poor fella is going to offend quite a few people by the time this gig is done and dusted

We're up to 258 overall nominations now. I've looked at 241 of them and have written capsules for 158 of them. I also have not finished going through all the world record holders, which I will do just to make sure one of them doesn't get overlooked.
(For the record, about 40 horses in I started figuring out what kind of resume was going to be worthy of top 50 consideration, and if I knew a horse wasn't going to make that cut, I didn't do a capsule. Needless to say, a lot of horses really were/are worthy of top 50 consideration. I'm sure I'll catch some flack from owners whose horses I deemed not quite good enough for even an "honorable mention" capsule, but I hope most will appreciate the work that's been done, and the history it chronicles. It's a pretty impressive look back.)
