They happen right after Saturday results :D The good majority of mine (whenever it happens, and its rare) happen when the year changes over though. I have only had one yearling improve W9 in my 13 RL years and that was https://www.simhorseracing.com//horse.p ... eID=507799 who went from htt to stakes.

I named him Regretting because I had gelded him and then sent him to green pastures but somebody had an Eohippus foal improve so I looked to see if I had gotten ridden of any of my own... and I BSed them all. He had an improvement so I bought him back.

Can i ask?

Do you have to gallop your horse to see if it as changed its rating.

Yes Frank, that’s why for horses already racing it’s best to just leave them be and see if they show improvement on the track instead of during a gallop since that gallop could throw them slightly from their regular racing schedule.

I’m bored and it’s lockdown so here’s me jinxing myself by posting the horses I’d like to see improve and would be pretty disappointed if they don’t:
Bubblewrap King-claimer out of blue hen, only way is up I hope 😩
Dance Hall-productive out of another blue hen
Sweet Serenade-if this solid doesn’t improve I might quit 😭
Good Boi-late blooming productive still, there’s hope right?? 😬

Keeping my fingers crossed for an allowance TR filly, if she blooms now she'll be my first homebred TB stakes. Knowing my horses, though, she'll bloom somewhere at the end of her fifth year

Most bloomers will likely go up one level and then be at peak , I think big jumps are rare and its probably more incremental than what bloomer implies a great majority of the time
