Fiddling around...Not bad, kinda tough to follow some. if there were a way to no bar graph it, it might be a little different...might be part of the background though

Quick Note: the animator "expects" 4 calls (counting the finish) on the result chart so it will not work on the really short races.

Hot Dang!!!

This is really good Ronnie, I am impressed & is very useful.

Only one thing please add: ability to pause at any point.

I really like this! :)

Ps: I can't get it to work for any race ID, only the default one. It freezes with entering a race ID.

We don't need anything else, I would hardly call this crude...

Also, please be specific on "really short Races" - I am assuming you mean the mixed breed sprinters but at what distances are you speaking of?

What race ID did you try?
...
The animator will not work with any short mixed breed races because the "race chart parser" looks for First Call, Second Call, Third Call, and Finish. For example, in the short Quarter Horse races, there is only First Call and Finish.

ok it is working now. I entered a paint horse racing at 870 yds (thinking it wasn't a MB sprint - but it is)

so I have answered my own question.

I really love this Ronnie, Thanks!!!!

I also posted my "original project" -- a text displaying race call reader. For those few who want results to last longer and the anticipation to build, it displays the post parade, then start, ..., winner's circle.

So, the way I see this.....I will be writing down the ID's of my races each results night. Before they race!

Then, once I know results are up, I pull up this program and watch my races! Brilliant!!! :)
Ronnie, thanks for the effort, it is most definitely something I look forward to using!

Now, how do I slow it down?

The delay is currently set at 25. If you want to slow the animation down, set the delay to a higher number. If you want to speed the animation up, set the delay to a lower number.

Definitely not crude, very very neat! I know what will keep me preoccupied until the 12th, seeing my horses old races.
