Maybe, instead of having the option to claim your horse because that seems like cheating the system to me (maybe its not but it sounds shady to me) allowance optional claimer races could be created? That way you have the option of entering your horse without a tag if you dont want somebody to claim it. Not ALL claiming races but some, like real life.

Well, to argue, it wouldn't be cheating because either you win in a One way shake or you lose a 6-way. Its not like you auto keep your horse.

Wouldn’t the claim cancel itself out? You’d get the money from someone claiming your horse but it’s also you who claimed the horse which means you have to pay that money that you just got from the claim, so you’re at $0. Is that right or am I being dumb?

Ah I see so essentially it’s putting in a claim on your horse so you don’t lose it (unless you lose it in a shakeout).

Would it be possible to get a notification when your horse moves to the also eligible list in a race from the main entries? I tend to enter horses right after races open up so there is usually plenty of space. Then I don't really check back so was surprised and disappointed to wakeup this morning to notice that my horse had been scratched when it was too late to enter them in another race today. If I would have gotten notice when the race first filled I perhaps would have had time to find something new.

its one of the problems with the introduction of first class shipping. I've had that happen a number of times this season. Your suggestion would definitely help but might still come too late for some because some players are entering very last minute.

Done. Sorry for the omission. It's called "Extra Race Purse".
