Re: One Small Thing
I recently noticed the Horse Locations menu option and really like it a lot. When the map appears, I can click on one of the farms that I am using and can see the owner, board, and number of my horses that reside there. But there does not seem to be any easy way for me to see which of my horses reside at this farm. Request #1: It would be great if I there would be link on the number of horses that when clicked would display only my horses residing at the farm.
Aside: When I was clicking around, I noticed that some of the farms that I utilize had a change in ownership. After a little bit of research, I found that the prior owner had sadly left the Sim.
Request #2: When I am shipping my horses to a farm, it would be great if the name of each farm owner was included with the name of the farm.

Good info, thanks. I didn't know you could change your highest bid that way. And good point.Laura Ferguson wrote: ↑5 years agoEven if that button doesn't exist, you can change your bid to be the minimum amount higher than the current bid. So if you put your max bid of $5.5 million, and the current bid shows up as $3 million, and you can bid in increments of $1, you can change your max bid from $5.5 million to $3,000,001, making it more likely that someone will outbid you.Erin Sanderson wrote: ↑5 years ago Would love a button to cancel an auction bid, if at all possible. I always wind up having second thoughts and praying someone will outbid me.
The problem with cancelling a bid outright is that the player you outbid may have made new bids, and that could have a ripple effect that really impacts other players.

Separating actual steeplechase and bumper race stats on a horse's page like we have with Dirt/Turf/AW. I keep thinking my horses are doing horrible and have no idea why I kept them until I look down at the actual races and realize the poor things don't necessarily suck over jumps, they just were extremely confused and bad when they didn't have obstacles to focus on in a race.

I'm pretty sure bumper races are run based on chase ability.Melissa Mae wrote: ↑5 years ago Separating actual steeplechase and bumper race stats on a horse's page like we have with Dirt/Turf/AW. I've had multiple horses win/place this year over jumps already that didn't run well in bumpers.Ali Hedgestone wrote: ↑5 years agoI'm pretty sure bumper races are run based on chase ability.Melissa Mae wrote: ↑5 years ago Separating actual steeplechase and bumper race stats on a horse's page like we have with Dirt/Turf/AW. Re: One Small Thing
So when we use the quick filter in the racing barns to try to filter for soundness the filter will give both Very Sound and Very Unsound when I try to filter for just Very Sound horses. Anyway we can get a soundness drop down filter in the racing barns instead of using the quick filter?
pretty please?

You can always release names from deceased, unraced horses by contacting me, I do several every day. You can't do it automatically or you would be able to release names like Mr. Prospector, Storm Cat, etc, those real life famous horses."

I figured that was the reason for the rule, and that's why I included "player-bred" in my original post. Perhaps some progeny earnings condition should be included as well. But it's not a big deal, like I said, just an emailRachel Sadler wrote: ↑5 years agoI asked for this 7 months ago and this was the reply as to why it cant happen.Jo Ferris wrote: ↑5 years agoThis would be awesome!! Maybe a condition if the breeder field is empty the horse can’t have it’s name released? That would include all created horses, whether they are RL horses or not?Tim Matthews wrote: ↑5 years agoI figured that was the reason for the rule, and that's why I included "player-bred" in my original post. Since it already has conditions on if it’s been raced, and hasn’t earned more that $150k, might be an easy add in? Or it could be a total nightmare haha

Re: One Small Thing
I would like the ability to enter a 3rd and 4th horse onto the also-eligible list in case the race splits. It would save me time having to go back and figure out which horses I had wanted to enter prior to the split and then go through the process of finding the race again.
