Picked this horse up for $1. It was a Solid but then galloped as Stakes. My first Stakes horse! Thrilled with my good luck on this one. :D

Nice one! Can we spare a moment to say "Kudos" to the author for the headshot of that one's sire.

Had no young horse improving but the older guard is slowly coming into their 3-week-gallops after mid-year-changes. Today two of them revealed themselves as improvers - a 4yo filly and a 3yo gelding. Nothing immensely striking but the young man's stakeswin last out may not have been entirely race placing and a bucketload racing luck then.

As far as I know, it had only happened to me once before yesterday and had Em not forced me to keep my rather-be-pensioneers for years longer with the recent change ;) , I wouldn't have known of the filly uppgrading either.

Fern, I have been playing since year 37 and have only had one improve. Most of mine downgrade. :(
