Really? I had bid on her day one, lost high bid on day 2, thought that meant an underbid?

Nope you'd got the high bid :) You were named highest bidder before the end of the sale- knew you wanted to get something, so congrats!

Filled With Stars is a freak!

I'm super excited because

A) it's diversifying my turf miler broodmares

and

B) I think this female family is going to be super, super nice
Superbia --> SC Winning Stud from the My Heart of Hearts dynasty --> 40,000 fee
Quetzalcoatl --> G1 winner, Son of SC winner Luxuria, 20,000 fee
Filled With Pride --> G1 winner, Son of SC winner Superbia, 20,000 fee

Both of mine are stakes because I am amazing at picking out stakes gallopers in these auctions.

I was surprised to get anything since I knew I wouldn't be able to be around at the end of the auction due to work. I put in my top bids days ago and fortunately they held. I was lucky enough to get That First Kiss who galloped stakes (love her dam) and Silver Jeans who galloped Freak!!! Yay!!

Well Rochelle was named as the high bidder on a horse prior to the auction finishing so...

Katie it didn’t say I had a high bid until the auction was over and processed :)

I won a horse despite not bidding in days, forgot it was a yearling auction and it is only week one, and promptly broke my Steward bred. So that was fun.

I've decided I'm done with colts as I don't have the mares to support them and the turf mile fillies wound up being too rich for my blood. Oh well saves me the disappointment a few years from now when the beautifully bred filly that I spent millions of dollars on as a broodmare prospect is throwing nothing but claimers. Also, more money to overpay for paint fillies (anyone have any sprinting/middle distance ladies that have won some stakes or produced some stakes winners they want to lease/sell me?)

Both one-piecers. I lucked out HUGE. Thanks, SIM gods.
You snagged 'Yet Another Monday' from me and my cash was locked up on another horse so I couldn't get back in.. Grats
I did end up with a stakes DM and a freak TS so it's all good
