I need Dirt Sprint help.....

Post by Leonard Beagle »

So, I accidentally purchased a dirt sprint mare, Chickado Lobell, in an auction. I have NOT raced a dirt sprinter in YEARS. To get my feet wet, I'm offering a lease trade.

Chickado Lobell one year mare lease
FOR
Any dirt sprint 2 year old lease

Please include the gallop comments of your 2 year old in your offers.

Also, I know what times to look for in Turf Mile and Turf Route workouts.....what times are considered great / good / decent / horrible in dirt sprint workouts?

Thank you all for any help or consideration!

I’d say send her to Decency as he’s probably the best value ‘improver’ DS stud right now; if you want some things to race I can send you some allowance sprinters to play with, and when her yearling gallops go 3f and anything under 35 is excellent, under 35.20 is useful, and anything over 35.35 can go in claimers. At least those are my thresholds unless it’s a filly with an established tail female line. That’s my two pence!

Not nearly as insightful as Gigi, but I do have this posted: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=45648

They aren’t required to run in TP, just figured they’d be most useful there.

I also have some Allowance DS I’d be more than happy to lease you, since there hasn’t been a whole lot of NP interest :/

Well, it seems no one is interested in the lease for my mare, so I'll follow Gigi's advice here and breed her.

Gigi, I'll take any DS leases you want to offer. I'm sure you'll price them fair, so just send them my way! Thank you for the information!!!
