Re: Little Things Still Make Me Smile
I just checked the soundness on my horse Tower Of Pisa: "She is the type of horse that physically thrives on a heavy work load. Look at those solid legs! I wouldn't worry too much about injury." I was expecting the opposite to be honest!

Re: Little Things Still Make Me Smile
A year ago Keith started this thread about this horse:
Since then, the horse has had a few more owners and now at age 8 has earned $363,840 lifetime...with a hair over $94,000 put onto those earnings after being sent to AJ.
It kind of makes me smile than this horse managed to not get lost in AJ's and now as an 8 year old, is still earning a paycheck.

He let go of the horse Year 53 Week 9, sending it to AJ.Keith Maidlow wrote: ↑5 years ago
..........Two days ago I get this guy in an all allowance auction for $34,567, Scary Injury. Last night I ran him in the $75K "Claiming Cup Express" at 6f in the mud (he likes mud), he wins, gets me $37.5K and makes me smile.
Just had to share.
Any little things make you smile here in the SIM?

Re: Little Things Still Make Me Smile
Three-year-old filly Nowhere Now Here brought home the Denver Derby/Denver Oaks double today.
I begun playing with the thought when she won the Derby and I found the Denver Oaks scheduled for two weeks
later.
She's sired by Dave Matthews Band (Thank you for being supportive, Jon ) out of a daughter of the first mare I had showing an A- nick.

She's named after this lovely piece made by the Japanese instrumental/experimental band Mono.
