Of your new crop of yearlings, does anyone have an older female line than this gal has?
She gallops / Allowance.

Re: Pedigree ?
I once had the grand dam, who was a blue hen. Paramount Shows has a half sister, Tatouine, is also a blue hen and her yearling just galloped stakes. Promising!

Re: Pedigree ?
Her dam is only a formidable, but she’s produced a stakes galloper in the past. So fingers crossed your filly gets that ever elusive jump in class.Gwayne Mike wrote: ↑4 years agoHoping she'll be at least, a star broodmare?Natasha Yar wrote: ↑4 years ago Oh hey! I know that horse!

Re: Pedigree ?
I did breed this filly this year. Dam is only "good" and she only gallops productive, but maybe by some stroke of fortune she'll make a useful broodmare. The female family can't get much better.

Re: Pedigree ?
I'm very proud of my Foremost line.
In year 17, when I joined... I selected the pedigree for my free CAM, and got Foremost. She didn't do much on the track but her daughters and their daughters have just been spectacular on and off the track, in my opinion.
The latest to gallop as a stakes horse... is this filly:
Foretold
One of Foremost's daughters, Forgave
produced Forethought, Forgot, and Fortunate.
Forgot, a male sired my millionaire earner Heartborken from a mare out of the Foremost line called Foreshock...and Foreshock is also the dam of millionaire Speak With Fists.
Forethought, the daughter of Forgave, is the dam of the above mentioned Foreshock
I keep hoping that the line never weakens, and also that it will produce more great males too. I keep trying for good males but it always seems to be the fillies that do great things with this pedigree line.

Re: Pedigree ?
I remember when I bred for the first time (in year 48) I got 4 TB stakes. Best I have got so far.
I tried to find the maximum number of headshots in the pedigree, combined with a not too expensive stud fee.
I guess I will send a few to spectre this year

Re: Pedigree ?
My original post was referring to the line going back to the maternal great grandmother.
Not the mother only.

Re: Pedigree ?
There were at least four yearlings born last year with Wonder as their maternal great grandmother and a foal so far this year. I wouldn't go as far as calling Wonder's female line ancient considering how firmly modern days TB dirt routing rests upon her heritage but she was nonetheless born 39 Sim-years ago, her dam Now 45 sim-years ago.

If I did it correctly, then it's 9 generations back for your horse before ya hit a blank.Gwayne Mike wrote: ↑4 years ago My original post was referring to the line going back to the maternal great grandmother.

I think with my current filly, Foretold, the line goes back 7 generations.
