It's super!

Your horse's page is going to get a lot of clicks and even more self-clicks!

I remember that's what I did with Gold From the Sky. I just kept clicking on it all the time the first few months.

Glad you like it! Yes, not much to do lately so I'm chomping at the bit when they come in.

Well, after GP and .5 day, I'll have at least two more coming your way, so hang in there!

We went 4-5 real years without a single break in the flow of headshot orders, and now we've gone almost 2 weeks with only 2 orders.

Suffice it to say, that's not ideal!

Hopefully GP 1.5 day will boost your orders!! Especially if there was a headshot sale soon after

Give and take I guess, I don't acquire head shots anymore based on a few factors:
A) The small print says that even though I pay ($42.42 AU) for it, the game still "owns" the image.
B) The quality (in my opinion) is rather hit and miss depending on the artist.
C) The only gain to a head shot for the player is the minor possibility of getting an Edge mention. Known fact that not all head shots get in the Edge. A positive Edge article invariably leads to a financial gain in game dollars for the studs owner.
D) Cost factor, for the cost of the actual head shot I can pay for more beneficial things:
-Companion animal to help my horse recover in line with the opposition.
-Equipment. because that may save me several weeks or even months of galloping since without paying there is no way to know if the horse requires no, one or two pieces, this includes whether the second piece is a vet piece or a gallop piece. That is 1250 GP's per horse or $1.25US. the current conversion has that at $1.76 per horse in Australian dollar terms or obviously $176 for 100 horses (clearly I only do the ones I like or may prove worthwhile on the track).
-Hypo's, despite the fact I was initially led to believe hypo's were pedigree based, hypo'ing to exact pedigrees of differing siblings can give varying results, so there has to be a check on each sire that interests me, i have fine tuned that down to three hypos per stud (1.06AU) to get a reasonably accurate reading of hypo quality. Mares usually require two ($0.70AU) to allow for a possible anomaly.
-Bottom line, the diverting of a head shot cost can pay for some of the running costs of a stables all but necessary needs throughout a season. Naturally that doesn't include the cost of simperior.

That is just my take on it all....
