My first year breeding: High expectations, total disappointment.

My second year: Relaxed, bred fewer, barely even noticed when gallops opened, was pleasantly surprised several times over.

This year: Over-spending, panicking, breeding more than ever, counting the minutes till Festivus and fighting not to get my hopes up. I have a sneaking suspicion this is how not to do it.

My first year breeding: No idea what long or short routers were. Bred to 1$ stallions.(indominus cause he had many headshots in pedigree) Got 4 stakes.
2nd, 3rd, 4th Increasingly more money spent on studs, significantly better broodmares. Never got 4 stakes again.

Still have too high expectations on this festivus. The same as with stewards cup.
I still think in week 10 that this years crop will be just well bred runners.
Then this last week kills me, I just breed a few more formidable dirt routers with B+ nick, and some more and some more.
No quality horses come from this last 5 days of breeding.
