Rough Start

Post by Inca Stables »

I am having a rough start to the year. Anyone else struggling. I have come off of a couple decent seasons but my horses have decided to revolt I guess

Traditionally my barn doesn’t produce much until week 3 or 4, nothing new for me.

Well most of our good horses run W16 so its totally understandable to get a slow start when Week 1 rolls around. I'm sure your horses will get back on track!

With motivation at an all time low... I acquired an assistant trainer for this season. So Any success (other than Artilleryman) will be all credit to her.

Well I posted this and as we enter week 16 I have 97 wins which is the most in my long career. Started with 1 win in first 2 weeks then exploded.

I had a similar year to you, after the first 4 weeks I was sitting on 8% win and 35% OTB and was about to quit with by far my worst year ever. Now I'm at 22% Win and hovering about 50% OTB and my career best earnings wise and stakes wins wise with half the starts of my previous record setting season. It definitely feels good to turn things around. Congrats!

editing to say apparently I didn't pass my stakes wins of years past but did come close.
