The way I'm interpreting this is you take one of your own mares, pick a stallion for her, then the Steward just puts her name on it by hitting the breed button? If so I don't see the benefit? If I'm getting it wrong could you clarify what you mean?

On top of that because you are sending her the mare, it would be most likely be one you have some sort of attachment to and would like it to have a better chance of breeding a good one (by no means guaranteed) in a division you like to compete in most.

If I did not already have 3 Stewie foals from Stewie auctions, I would give serious consideration to pushing a button that said "Use Em's Magic Wand -- $1 million" to give a foal a better slide from one of my top mares. In my million dollar proposal, the resultant foal would be designated a Steward bred so one could use Em's magic wand at most 3 times per foal crop.

But I would definitely not spend $25K or more for a lottery ticket to have a chance to do the same. The reason is that playing a lottery is not much fun for me.

Given the rarity of a SB being less than productive, I am pretty sure that in the computer program she automatically (no button pressing required) gets much more favorable random slides.

Perhaps we could donate to build a SIM place of worship (your choice) and tithe and pray to the SIM gods for Freaks, or true blue Blue Hens, etc. I would tithe weekly for that!

What about a companion pet show. You pay entry fees and then the winner gets the pot minus some percentage taken out by management. Or if we wanted to limit potential winnings just a set amount. Could make a trophy for the trophy case and have a page that lists all the companion pet show winners.

What about ribbons we could add to horse's manes? They wouldn't have any impact at all on their racing ability, but in the past performances and horse page it would note which ribbon a horse was wearing for each start, including the size, color and any decorations on it. If the horse has a headshot the ribbons could also be added to the headshot for an additional fee.

Allows players to build their own personal Hall Of Fame Museum for horses they want remembered for themselves. Charge to build it. Charge to add a horse... Cause it costs to build and set up displays.
Benefits: Horses available for easy access on a data table for a trip down memory lane.

A personal hall of fame / somewhere to see my favourite sim horses would be great

What about charging for a way to get things like gallop comments or fitness without actually training your horse. So for example if you are curious if your horse improved gallops you could regallop it and get the new gallop comment for free. But what if that horse is actively racing and you don't want to gallop it. Well you can pay x thousand dollars and just get the comment without the gallop. Similar scenario your horse just galloped and it's comment went up. Wonder if it is fit but don't want to wait a few days for it to become nontired to jog, well now you can pay for the fitness comment. Really want to make some money off of it make it so the paid gallop comment option is open as soon as the year turns over unlike the training one that has to wait until training opens.
