What's the deal with this guy? Did I break him?
Can't believe that he'd fall off so quickly...I'm thinking about one more race for him and if he drops anchor again, he's headed for a life of
getting busy with the ladies.
So, if you don't mind helping, I'd appreciate any insight you all may have.
Thanks and have a great day!

Re: Insight?
Maybe run him off a two week break and see how he does. I find running on three weeks consistently seems to rest them too much and a two week break perks them back up.

Re: Insight?
Every horse is different, but for the most part I noticed the sprinters tale off at 4.
I have about 4-5 sprinters right now who kicked butt at 2 and 3 and are struggling at 4. I also have a few who I stuck with them them through 5 and 6 and was rewarded with a few late age stakes wins.

Re: Insight?
Thanks everyone. He's had a recent good run week 3, and no shame in the 4th in the Desert, so maybe it was a clunker.
He's got a front-end on the engine running style, so I thought 5F might be ok.
All in all, the consensus is that I may be knee jerking a little and should just chill...he'll be fine.

Re: Insight?
He might have dropped off after W9, or (more likely) he just ran badly today. Give him another shot in a couple weeks and see how he goes.

Had somewhat the same issue with What about us who was decent in Dubai and then started to go very badly after than before she suddenly came back in her last race and won the sc
