Today my anxiety switched to excitement! My first 4 contenders did horribly and nothing bad happened! Time for fun now! I say that, but I’ll probably be a nervous wreck during live calls on Thursday and Friday!

Might have worded my sentence wrong.
I meant that I’m more worried about if a mare rates poorly once retired or if my studs hypo poorly.

I have lost so many SC races and had horses run poorly that I thought had a chance at winning that I don’t really go into to it very anxious anymore. Just hope for the best and see what happens.

I myself have a few mixer SC entries and about another 50 rando stakes and claimer types.
If I can say, get a dozen wins including 1 SC miracle. I'll be blinded by joy.

Not really anxious. I’ve got maybe 3 legitimate contenders, one of which is a Mixer who has already won 2 of these so she’s prolly due to finish 8th lol.

Honestly my perspective has changed after being at a couple of real-life Breeders Cups. You go to those and pull out the DRF ——- shoot every horse in it is terrific. They’re all Champions of something from somewhere.

These aren’t supposed to be easy, in the pocket sort of wins. So if you’ve got a horse that’s worthy of showing up, you’ve got a good horse. What’s to be anxious about?
