Probably foolishly excited for this girl, Baby Got Back. Her dam is only Some Potential, but look at her dam and second dam. Hopefully they somehow make up for her lack of potential lol

Lucille, her dam is one of my few mares who’ve actually produced a stakes lol and her stakes foal’s sire is from the Messiah line so I figured “why not Circle of Life?”.

Tom Riddle his dam I claimed for her name, but she’s somehow a star who nicks A- to so many things. Her second dam is also decent imho!

Toss A Coin his dam has a freak was it a random slide? Probably, but worth a shot!

Good As Hell sentimental reasons lol. I races her dam her whole career and she retired as a Blue Hen for me

SIGH I'd like to be excited for her, her dam has produced 33.3% allowance foals and has a pretty pedigree...BUT I noticed, after I spent $150k on World Gone Mad I noticed her progeny records are Solid, Productive, Allowance, Solid, Productive, Allowance...so if this is a solid Ima be SO mad lol

This one I just want her dam's uterus to produce better...I might be in denial, but look at her damline she should give me SOMETHING...right? :C

My DMB Baby! dam isn't TERRIBLE and her progeny record is 33.3% Stakes, and 66.6% Allowance :3 I am hoping and praying lol

Little Black Dress (Who will be named next year after current Little Black Dress runs some more, since she is earning money XD) she's a stewie with at least two freak siblings, one of which is playerbred with a freak foal of her own! :p

Looking through my small numbers of homebred thoroughbred foals born this year I don't think I would have anything to be particularly excited/disappointed about. My TB broodmares all have pedigrees and (almost all) high nicks to boot, but (almost) none come with a spectacular race record. Maybe one or two spark my curiousity a little:

Roar Said the Cat's daughter as she's a full sister to almost-millionaire (on turf) See You Never, half-sister to Steward's Cup winning (on all weather) Shamanin and half-sister to lost-her-juvenile-Steward's-Cup-by-a-neck (on all weather) Xinich.

Mostly I'm just trucking along (marathon-closer-style), trying to make pretty broodmares for Y56.

This year I have a ton of really nice breedings from REALLY nice mares so it’ll be extra disappointing when I get one stakes out of them, an allowance, a couple of productives and a claimer or two.

My first crop of experiments are 2YOs of this year and some of them have actually done alright... I retired and bred a few of the fillies already, so here's hoping their babies turn out even better, and I can turn this into something over the course of a few generations.

I love my multi surface babies. Right now they’re mostly TS/AWS or AWS/SC but you claimed one away from me earlier this year! Grrrr...

I was quite happy when I had 50 foals...then it crept up and up. I had mares to retire and looked at all the nice studs retiring and the numbers crept up some more. Now I’m looking at all the pretty mares being offered to lease and, yes, up go the numbers again. I have a couple of bids in Laura’s lease auction and you just never know what someone will offer. (*shaking finger*...I’m looking at you Stormy, lol). Lo and behold, twins! Ha, my 50 head foal crop has doubled, and then some. I’m proud of them all and will not jinx any one of them by bragging. Here’s hoping they are all mostly competitive!
