Another Hacklu Story
Dr. Hinede Hacklu Says:
"Hi There, Gwayne Mike. I need coffee. Do you have coffee? I can give 'Teddy K G B' an exam. It will cost you $1,000."
So I buy him an expensive Starbuck's blend.
He thanks me by charging me a grand for the visit?
The legend continues

Should have asked him, 'Would you like an Oreo cookie with your coffee?'

Studies have shown that doctors (and assumably vets too) get less complications when they operate just after the morning coffee...
I will try to find a link to that...

CHECK,CHECK,CHECK.......
It's better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it.

Maybe that's a SIM money removal idea - a button that says "Give Hacklu coffee" for $10k and you get extra info.

Re: Another Hacklu Story
Well, I've got coffee, "fika", eggs, alcohol, books (written by the horseowner), chocolate, flowers, Thank You note in the local papers,... I have one farmer who always set up the barbecue when I come. My favourite is drawings from the kids.
And I remember one time. I was a "newly baked" veterinarian and got a call from a farmer- a cow had mastitis. I live near the sea, and the farmer arranged to pick me up in his boat. It was spring but it felt like a summerday in the westcoast archpelago. 40 min later, we arrived to a little island, and I could examen and treat the cow. After this -of course breakfast with homemade bread, egg and pickled herring. And then we went back again by his little boat. Back to reality. Unfortunately I don't think we could save the cow (it was a really nasty e-coli mastitis), and I heard the farmer passed away in cancer. But I will always remember going out in a little boat to the little island, meet this farmer and his lovely wife and eat the best breakfast I've ever had... <3

Re: Another Hacklu Story
Well he did wish me a happy birthday today by telling me I look fit and happy. I'm not sure about the first part.
